Thermo Scientific 20mm crimp top and 18mm screw top headspace vials are available in clear or amber glass in sizes ranging from 6mL to 27mL. Choose from a round or flat base with a beveled or square edge finish. Round base vials are compatible with most autosamplers and more easily handled by robotic arms that lift the vial from the tray.

Vial choices include: Crimp Top, Snap Top, and Screw top vials with a selection of closures. Refer to the Autosampler Compatibility Table on pages 12-13 to determine which vials, closures and inserts will work on your specific autosampler unit.

WHEATON® Headspace Vials, 6mL or 0.2oz Clear, 20mm Finish, Type I Borosilicate Glass. Headspace Vials feature rounded shoulders and bottoms, allowing for even heating and safer operation at higher pressures. The newly designed top provides a tighter seal with your septa. Vials are manufactured from Type I borosilicate glass.

Our rounded bottom vials, designed for high pressure strength during the heating process, or flat bottom vials, are available in 6mL, 10mL, 20mL, 27mL capacities, in 20mm crimp or 18mm screw thread. When used in equipment with magnets, headspace vials with rounded bottoms slide more easily into heating blocks.

The Crimp Top headspace vials are made of borosilicate hydrochloric acid. It has a transparent and amber color and can withstand a temperature range of -60 to 200 degrees Celsius. Generally speaking, the volume of the headspace vial is 10-20ml, and the characteristic is 22.5*46/75mm.

Headspace vials and closures must form a tight seal for accurate analysis with reproducible results. Available in clear or amber Type I borosilicate glass with crimp or screw thread finishes. The vials are used to heat the sample until the concentration of the liquid and gas phases are in equilibrium.
