18mm Screw top headspace vials, caps, septa. Our screw top headspace vials are a novelty in a crimp-neck dominated field. They provide a ready-to-use, convenient solution that does not require crimping or decrimping tools. Headspace vials, septum and caps can be purchased in various quantities separately or as convenience kits.

These vials require a special cap with an 18 mm thread. The standard 18-400 threaded caps will not fit this vial. The part numbers for caps that are available for these vials are SU860101(with PTFE/silicone, 1.3 mm thick), SU860102 (with PTFE/butyl, 1.6 mm thick), and SU860103 (with PTFE/silicone, 1.5 mm thick).

Description. Unlike crimp cap vials, Thermo Scientific™ National 18mm Screw Top Headspace Vials require no tools for closure. Manufactured with superior quality (Type 1, Class A) glass, they are available with a round bottom in sizes with usable volumes of 10mL or 20mL. The 18mm vials feature Magnetic Screw Caps which enable magnetic pick up in autosamplers with that capability.
